A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA ESTABLISHING PERMIT FEES
AND PERFORMANCE BOND LEVELS FOR THE COLLECTION
OF SOLID WASTES
WHEREAS, Ordinance 121 requires the issuance of a permit
for the collection and removal of garbage and refuse, and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance requires bonding levels to ensure
the performance of the permittee, and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance provides for a permit fee to offset
the City of Poway's administrative cost and develop a com-
prehensive solid waste plan.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that:
Section 1: There will be two permits

For full time residential and commercial collection,
a fee of $1,000 per year with a $2.00 per account
charge. The number of accounts will be determined
by the City at the beginning of Each year.

The second permit shall be for garbage and refuse
collection on a temporary basis. The fee for a
temporary permit shall be $250.
SECTION 2: Performance Bond
A. For the temporary permit, the bond shall be set at
$10,000.
For the full time "A" Permit, the bond level shall
be based on the number of accounts the permittee
has. The following is the bond schedule:
