Res 84-122RESOLUTION NO. 84-122 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (GPA 84-03A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may arise to amend the City's General Plan; and WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Government Code describes the procedures for amending General Plans; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway directed a review of the land use designation on a parcel having an area of approximately 0.95 acres and located on the east side of Bowron Road south of its intersection with Civic Center Drive (APN 317-474- 01); WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing in accordance with the California Government Code and the California Environmental Quality Act to consider that request; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway finds that the use of this property should act as transition from the higher density of Poway Villas on the north and the lower density of Park Creek Condominiums on the south. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend the General Plan Land Use Map for the above described property from Residential Apartment (12-20 d.u./net acre) to Residential Condominium (7-12 d.u./net acre).
