A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (GPA 84-03F)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that
the need may arise to amend the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Government
Code describes the procedures for amending General Plans; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway directed a review
of the land use designation on a parcel having an area of
approximately 3.05 acres and located on the north side of Hilleary
Place, east of Community Road (APN 317-110-33);
WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing
in accordance with the California Government Code and the California
Environmental Quality Act to consider that request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway finds that the
existing density of Hilleary most closely approximates the maximum
density permitted under the Residential Condominium land use
designation (12 d.u./net acre).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
amend the General Plan Land Use Map for the above described
properties from Residential Apartment to Residential Condominium.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
State of California this 18th day of December.
