A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REQUIRING MINOR DEVELOPMENT REVIEW
APPROVAL BY THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Policy 15.e of the City of Poway Comprehensive Plan
calls for the protection of prominent ridgelines and hilltops; and
WHEREAS, a ridgeline study has been undertaken by the Planning
Services Department to identify prominent ridgelines and hilltops,
but that study will not be completed for approximately three
months.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that all
Minor Development Review applications for properties lying within
the shaded areas described as major topographical features on Figure
9 (Community Design Resources) of the Comprehensive Plan shall
require City Council approval and shall be included as items on the
City Council regular agenda.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State
of California, this 2th day of April, 1985.
