A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CIYJNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, C.~T.TI~O_RNIA
AMF/~DING THE SC~Rr~JLE OF WATER
RATES ASD ESTABLISHING WATER RATES
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985-1986
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 84-058
WHEREAS, costs associated with providing water have increased; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the pumping charges for Improvement
District 1, Iaprov~a~ent District 4, Asses~m~ent District 73, the DoDart areas,
Assessment District 79-1 and Service Area VI; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the water rate schedule and es~_ahlish
water rates for fiscal ye_~r 1985-1986.
NC~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway:
1. That the water rate schedule is hereby established as follows for all water
billed after July 1, 1985:

The basic water rate for all classes of service
other than agriculture shall equal (per unit)

The agriculture rate for agriculture service as
defined by the Metropolitan Water District

Custc~ers who receive water service for a home from a meter also serving a
~alified agricultural use shall be charged at the basic water rate for the
first 52 units of water provided and at the agricultural rate for all water
provided in excess of 52 units.

Capacity Charges
All water customers shall pay a bimonthly capacity charge for water service
based upon meter size as follows:
