CF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
AME~ING THE LAND USE ~.~ENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN CF THE CITY OF PO~AY
(GPA 85-01A, 85-01B, 85-01C AND 85-01D)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may
arise to amend the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Goverrment Code describes
the procedures for amending General Plans; and
WHR.~EAS, the City Council of the City of Powmy directed a review of the land
use designation of the following:
Two (2) parcels having a combined area of approximtely 17.56 acres and
located on the west side of Pequot Drive between the Heritage Hills and
Rancho Arbolitos subdivisions (APN 317-440-38, 317-611-01 ), (GPA
85-01A);
A parcel having an area of approximately 5.88 acres and located on the
north side of Twin Peaks RDad, west of Midland RDad (APN 314-194-45)
(GPA 85-01B);
Two (2) parcels having a total area of approximately 1.8 acres and
located on the south side of Oak Knoll Road east of its intersection
with Pcmerado Road (APN 317-501-01, and 02) (GPA 85-01C);
Two (2) parcels having a ccmbined area of approximately 1.27 acres and
located on the west side of Carriage Road, north of Roca Grande Drive
(APN 317-490-33 and 36) (GPA 85-01D).
WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing in accor-
dance with the California Government Code and the California Environmental
Quality Act to consider those requests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend the
General Plan Land Use Map as follows:
1. GPA 85-01A frc~ Residential Rural C to Residential Rural A;
2. GPA 85-01B frc~ Residential Single Family 2 to Residential Rural C;
3. GPA 85-01C frcm Residential Condominium to Residential Single Family 5;
4. GPA 85-01D from Residential Apartment to Residential Condcminium.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular n~cting thereof this 9th day of April, 1985.
