AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
EXTENDING THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF SECTION 81.116
OF THE CITY OF POWAY REGULATORY ORDINANCES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance 9 was adopted by this Council on December 30, 1980,
pursuant to Government Code Section 65858 as an interim emergency Ordinance.
Section 2 of Ordinance 9 added Section 81.116 to the San Diego County Code, as
adopted by this council on December 1, 1980 and set an expiration date for
Section 81.116 at 4 months.
This Council finds that the four month period is insufficient to complete the
study of flood control measures and zoning regulations currently in process.
Section 2. Pursuant to authorization granted this Council by Govenment
Code Section 65858, this Council amends Section 81.116 (d) of the City
Regulatory Ordinances to read:
(d) notwithstanding any other provisions of this Code, this Section
shall expire and be of no further force and effect eight (8) months
from the adoption of this Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 28th
day of April, 1981, by the following vote:
