Introduction by Deputy Director of Public Works Quillen. On September 30,
1997, the City Council adopted a Resolution establishing rules and regulations
for recycled water users and appropriating funds to implement the recycled water
program within the South Poway Business Park. In July of 1998, Poway started
accepting delivery of recycled water from the City of San Diego into the Gregg
Street Reservoir, irrigating the 895 Elevation Zone of the Business Park. On
August 7, 2002 implementation of recycled water to the remainder of the
Business Park was finalized when the 1028 Elevation Zone was converted to
recycled water. The City currently serves 181 customers in the South Poway
