A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING A TRAFFIC SIGNAL
IN THE CITY OF POWAY
WHEREAS, Section 21100 of the California Vehicle
Code permits local agencies to adopt rules and regulations
by resolution to regulate traffic by means of traffic
control devices, and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has adopted the County
Traffic Code by reference which authorizes the City
Council to designate intersections to be controlled by
official control signals, and
WHEREAS, as a condition of Tentative Parcel Map No.
84-07, (Poway Shopping Center) Resolution No. P-84-43 was
adopted approving the installation of a traffic signal at
the intersection of Silver Lake Drive and Poway Road.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance
with Section 21100 of the California Vehicle Code, the
traffic signal at Silver Lake Drive and Poway Road is
hereby established.
PASSED, ADOPTED, and APPROVED by the City Council
of the City of Poway, California at a regular meeting
thereof this 5th day of November, 1985.
