A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF P(~WAY, CAI'.TFORN/.A,
D~CLARING ITS INTENTION TO
ISSUE B05DS S~JJR~D BY SPECIAL TAXES TO
PAY FOR C~RTAIN FACILITIES IN A
(I~T~JNITY F~2ILITIES DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the CITY OOUNCIL of the CITY OF POWAY, CAT.IFORNIA, (herein~fter
referred to as the "legislative body of the local Agency"), has declared its
intention to order the establishment of a C~m~unity Facilities District for
certain public facilities pursuant to the terms and provisions of the
"Mello-Boos Cc~munity Facilities Act of 1982", being Chapter 2.5, Part 1,
Division 2, Title 5 of the Goverr~ent Code of the State of California, com-
mencing with Section 53311. This C_mnnunity Facilities District shall
herei~ter be referred to as
SOUTH POWAY ~TY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 1
(hereinafter referred to as the "District" ); and,
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this legislative body to finance all or
portion of said facilities through the issuance of bends, said bonds to be
secured by special taxes, all as authorized purs,~nt to said "Mallo-Roos
Ommunity Facilities Act of 1982".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HE~RRY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2.
That this legislative body declares that the public
convenienceandnecessity requires that a bonded indebtedness
be incurred to finance all or a portion of certain public
facilities as proposed for the designated District.
SECTION 3.
That the purpose for the proposed debt is generally described
as follows:
To finance the construction, expansion, rehabilitation or
purchase of certain regional facilities, including but not
limited to, park facilities, local recreational use parks,
street and access improvements, sewer improvements, and
drainage improv~nts, together with appurtenances and appur-
tenant work. For a full and complete description of said
facilities, reference is made to the file entitled
"DESCRIPTION OF F~/2ILITES", which is hereby referenced and
incorporated herein, and a copy of which is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk. For all particulars, reference is
made to said file and report.

That the amount of the proposed bonded indebtedness,
including the cost of the facilities, together with all inci-
dental expenses, is generally as follows:

SECTION 6.
That the Notice of Public Hearing heretofor published by
the City Clerk in the legally designated newspaper of
general circulation, being the POWAY NE~S (~iIEFTAIN, is
hereby ratified.
That the Notice of Public H~ring shall be mailed,
postage prepaid, to the property owner within the
boundaries of the proposed District: said mailing to the
property owner shall be to the address as shown on the
last equalized assessment roll.
