A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL /~'~?~"~j '
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING CRITERIA FOR TIME EXTENSIONS
OF SUBDIVISION MAPS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to set forth
definitive criteria for the consideration of time extensions of
subdivision maps.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a request for extensions of
time on subdivision maps shall meet the following criteria:
The application for time extension shall have been filed in
accordance with Section 16.10.080 Tentative Map Extension.
The owner or the owner's agent(s) are actively working
toward the finalization of the map in a manner that will
promptly lead to its approval. In determining whether a
subdivider has been actively processing a final map, the
City Council should consider criteria such as payment of
fees, submittal and/or approval of grading and improvement
plans, posting of bonds, construction of improvements,
acquisition or granting of easements, formation of
landscape maintenance district, payment of deposits for
engineering reviews, demolition work completed, and
completion of archaeological, biological, or other
environmental mitigation requirements.
