A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY C~/qCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTING ITS URBAN WATER MANAG~9~ PLAN
~IEREAS, the proper and cost effective conservation of our water resources
is essential to insuring adequate water supplies now and in the future; and
~IEREAS, water conservation is recognized as an integral part of all water
programs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pow-ay has co~91eted an Urban Water Management Plan
pursuant to the requirements of California Water Code Section 10610 et seq.; and
WHRREAS, this Plan is the formal document to discuss past, current, and
projected water demands; current and alternate water conservation measures;
water supply deficiencies; and future water mnagement practices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway,
California approves and adopts the "Urban Water Manag~nent Plan for the City of
Poway 1985"; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of Poway is author-
ized and directed to implement the water conservation me~___sures included in the
Plan as the City of Poway's part in the local and regional water conservation
effort.
PASSED, ADOPTED Abed APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this day of December, 1985.
