A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE DEbT,fY MAYOR TO SIGN
D0fI~MENTS IN THE ABSENCE OF THE MAYOR
WHerEAS, the Mayor of the City of Poway has ~n authorized by the City
ODuncil to sign resolutions and documents on behalf of the City; and
~EREAS, from time-to-time the Mayor is unavailable to sign resolutions and
other documents because of other commitments; and
WHEREAS, it is sometimes necessary to have resolutions and other documents
signed in the absence of the Mayor in order to execute the resolution or docu-
ment within a timely manner.
NOW, ~{EREFORE, THE CITY (DUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, DOES
HE~Y RESOLVE AS FOnrnWS:
Section 1. The Deputy Mayor is hereby authorized to sign resolutions and
other documents on behalf of the City in the absence of the Mayor.
PASSED, ADOPTED ASD APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at an ad~urned regular meeting thereof this 23rd day of December,
~85.
