A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY
ACCEPTING AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER TO DEDICATE REAL
PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC HIGHWAY PURPOSES
ADAH LANE, SOUTH OF POWAY ROAD
WHEREAS, on January 26, 1976, there was recorded an Irrevocable
Offer to Dedicate Real Property to the County of San Diego for
public highway purposes, for the southerly extension of Adah Lane,
and
WHEREAS, said Irrevocable Offer was not formerly accepted
for public highway purposes by the County of San Diego, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code Section
7050 provides that an offer of dedication shall remain open and
may be accepted at any time by the City Council of the City
within which the real property is located at the time of
acceptance, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best public interest of the City of
Poway that said irrevocable offer of dedication now be accepted
for public highway purposes to coincide with the construction
and improvement of Adah Lane.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does
resolve, determine, and order as follows:
1. The City of Poway hereby accepts for public use
for public highway purposes the following:
That certain irrevocable offer to dedicate
real property for public highway purposes,
recorded on January 26; 1976 at File/Page
76-023353, of Official Records, San Diego
County, California.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed.
to certify to the passage of this resolution and
to cause its recordation in the office of the
Recorder of San Diego County.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the~ Council of the City
of Poway, California, at a regular meet~28th day
of January, 1986.
