OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING AN "~LT~WAY" STOP //~r~4SHL~TION
AT MARTINCOIT A~D ROSTRATA ROADS
WHEREAS, Section 21351 of the California Vehicle Code permits the es~ahlish-
ment of an "All-Way" stop intersection in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the following coo~litions exist at the
intersection of Mmrtincoit Road and Rostrata Road:

The approach spccds for the Martincoit legs of the intersection exceed
the posted spc~ limit.
Both of the Martincoit approaches to the intersection do not meet City
street design standards.
3. There are inadequate provisions for pedestrian traffic at or
approaching the intersection.
Neither Martincoit nor Rostrata is designated as a secom~ary, major, or
primary arterial in the City's adopted circulation element.
NOW, THEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with said Section 21351,
an "All-Way" stop intersection is hereby established at the intersection of
Martincoit and Rostrata l~Dads.

California, at a regular meeting thereof thi~ll~ day of Febln~ary, 1986.
