A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING THE GRANT OF OPEN-SPACE EASEMENT ON
PORTION OF LOTS 98 AND 99 OF TM 4092-R, HAP NO. 11320
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires to
accept a grant of open-space easement in accordance with the
procedures provided therefore in Chapter 6.6, Part 1, Division 1
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
commencing at Section 51070,-
WHEREAS, the City Counci-1 of the City of Poway desires to
preserve natural resources that enhance the rural character of the
City of Poway,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Poway as follows:
This acceptance of grant of open-space easement is made
under the provisions of Chapter 6.6, Part 1, Division 1
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
2. The City Councll hereby flnds that:

That the preservation of the land as open space is
consistent with the general plan of the City of
Poway.
That the land Is essentially unimproved and if
retained In Its natural state has scenic value to the
public.

It is In the public lnterest that ~he land be
retained as open space because such land will add to
the amenities of llving in neighboring urbanized
areas and will help preserve the rural character of
the area In which the land is located.

The City Council hereby accepts the open-space easement
on portions of Lots 98 and 99 of TH 4092-R, Nap No.
11320.
The City Clerk of the City of Poway is hereby directed to
cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded
In the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County
in accordance with the provisions of Section 51084 of the
Streets and Highways Code, with the concurrent
recordation of the Grant of Open-Space Easement on Lots
98 and 99 of TM 4092-R, Nap No. 11320 by Imperial Savings
Association.
