A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ~OUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE ALTOCATION OF THE llTH YEAR CDBG ~ONDS
FOR THE OONSTRUCTION OF A 6-F00T BIDCK NOISE
A~I~ENUATION WALL, THE INSTAn~ATION OF (3DNCRETE CURBS,
GUTTERS AND SIDE6ALK~, ST~RRT LIGHTS AND LANDSCAPING
ALONG ~dE FAST SIDE OF PCMERAD0 ROAD
WHEREAS, the United States Congress has enacted the Housing and C~,,~unity
Develolm~ent Act of 1974 providing Federal funds for a wide range of housing and
cuL,~,unity develclm-~nt activities; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the east side of Pcmerado Road lacks adequate public
improvements as a result of faulty planning; and
WHEREAS, the households adjacent to the east side of Pc~ea__ao Road are pri-
marily populated with low and moderate inccme families.
NC~, THerEFORE, ME IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway that
the llth year CDBG funds are hereby allocated to the construction of a 6-foot
block noise attenuation wall, the construction of concrete curbs, gutters and
sidewalks, street lights and landscaping along the east side of Pc~aerado RDad.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this/~ day of March, 1986.
