~{~%EAS, Govez~.-ent Code Section 34090 authorizes City Degaz;,,~nt heads to
destroy certain City records, documents, insets, books or paper, under
their charge, without making a copy thereof, after the same are no longer
required, with the a~proval of the legislative body by resolution and the writ-
ten consent of the City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, this Council proposed to grant such approval for the destruction of
the records, documents, instruments, books or papers more partic,,l~rly described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, it having been determined by the Directors of
Administrative Services and Public Services to be no longer required; and
w~As, said records, documents, insets, books, or papers are not
within the category of items, the destruction of which is otherwise forbidden.
NU~, q~{EREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
That it does hereby authorize the Directors of Administrative Services and
Public Services to destroy the City records, documants, instruments, books,
or papers u~ter their charge, as described in said E~hibit "A," without
making a copy thereof.
