RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REQUESTING THE WITHDRAWAL OF
TERRITORY FROM SAN DIEGO COUNTY LIGHTING
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1
WHEREAS, territory in San Diego County Lighting Maintenance
District No. 1, was included in the City of Poway when it was
incorporated on December 1, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the three Lighting Maintenance Districts were
formed for the purpose of installing, operating and maintaining
public lighting facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has formed its own lighting
district for the purpose of installing, operating and maintaining
public lighting facilities:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
requests that the County Board of Supervisors withdraw all territory
that is in San Diego County Lighting Maintenance District No. 1
that is also in the City of Poway from the San Diego County Lighting
Maintenance District No.1.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the
City of Poway, California at a regular meeting this 7th day of
October, 1986.
