A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF
POWAY, CALIFORNIA FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY
CABLE TELEVISION CHANNEL IN POWAY
WHEREAS, the Foundation for Community Service Cable Televi-
sion has made funds available for the development of a local
television channel; and
WHEREAS, the need exists for a community channel and the
Chamber of Commerce and the local school district have expressed
an interest in utilizing the channel for educational purposes:
and
WHEREAS, local community groups have expressed a desire to
use the channel for youth activities and fund raising.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the
City of Poway hereby:
Approves the filing of an application for grant funds for
development of a community service cable television chan-
nel for Poway.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof this 14th day of
October, 1986.
