A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA IN THE MATTER OF REVERTING TO ACREAGE THAT
SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO TRACT 3842-3,
LOMAS VERDES ESTATES, UNIT 3
WHEREAS, on or about August 12, 1980, the County of San Diego
approved a final subdivision map for a subdivision known as County
of San Diego Tract 3842-3, and thereafter on August 26, 1980 the
subdivision map was recorded, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway has, by its
own motion, asked that this map be considered for reversion to
acreage, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the question of reverting
the subdivision to acreage and notice of the public hearing was
given in the time and manner provided in Section 66451.3 of the
Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway finds,
determines, and orders as follows:
The City Council finds that certain dedications,
offers of dedication, and easements on County
Tract Map 3842-3 are necessary for public
purposes and shall be retained on the final
map, and
The City Council finds that the remaining
dedications, offers of dedication, and
easements within the subdivision to be
reverted to acreage are unnecessary for
present or prospective public purposes, and
None of the improvements required to be made
have been made within two years from the date
the final map was filed for record, and
The subdivided real property known as
County of San Diego Tract 3842-3 shall
be reverted to acreage upon approval of
a final map of reversion to be effective
on the recordation by the County Recorder
of a final map as provided in Government
Code Section 66499.18.

In the event that letters of credit securing
installation of the required public improve-
ments within one year of the date hereof,
acceptable in amount to the Director of
Public Services and in form to the City
Attorney, are delivered to the City of Poway
within six weeks of the adoption of this
resolution, these reversion proceedings shall
be terminated without further action of the
City Council.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, State of California, this 3rd day of February, 1987.
