A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA ORDERING THE GRANTING OF EASEMENT AND
RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATION
FACILITIES AND APPURTENANCES WITHIN THAT PARCEL OF CITY
OF P0WAY LAND AS SHOWN AND DELINEATED ON RECORD OF
SURVEY NO. 4950 TO SAN DIEGO GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY
WHEREAS, San Diego Gas and Electric Company (SDG&E) has existing
overhead electrical facilities and appurtenances within that parcel
of City of Poway land as shown and delineated on Record of Survey
No. 4950, more particularly identified as of the date of this
instrument as APN 278-171-07, and
WHEREAS, said SDG&E intends to underground said facilities
and appurtenances within said City land, and
WHEREAS, said undergrounding of electrical facilities is in
the best interest of the City, and
WHEREAS, said SDG&E will undertake the undergrounding at no
cost to the City, and
WHEREAS, SDG&E has requested the City to grant them an easement
and right-of-way for underground electrical and communication
facilities and appurtenances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that:
1. The City Council hereby grants to SDG&E the
following described easement and right-of-way:
An easement and right-of-way in, upon, over,
under and across the lands hereinafter
described to erect, construct, change the size
of, improve, reconstruct, relocate, repair,
maintain, and use facilities consisting of
underground electrical and communication
facilities and appurtenances.
The property in which this easement and right-
of-way is hereby granted is situated in the
County of San Diego, State of California,
described as follows:
That certain parcel of land, as shown and
delineated on Record of Survey Map No. 4905,
filed March 2, 1959, at File No. 41229 in
the office of the County Recorder of said
County of San Diego, being a portion of the
Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 31, Township 13 South, Range 1 West,
San Bernardino Meridian.

The easement in the aforesaid lands shall be 10.00
feet in width, being 5.00 feet measured at right
angles on each side of the following described
centerline:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said Record
of Survey Map No. 4905, said corner bears North
85°39'06'' East from the most southerly corner
thereof; thence South 83014'49'' West, 67.40 feet
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of the centerline
herein described; thence North 37°54'19'' West,
14.55 feet to the beginning of a 25.00 foot
radius curve concave easterly; thence northwesterly
and northerly along the arc of said curve, through
a central angle of 43056'58'', a distance of 19.78
feet; thence North 06002'39'' East, 31.68 feet to
the beginning of a 87.64 foot radius curve concave
southwesterly; thence northerly and northwesterly
along the arc of said curve through a central
angle of 80°52'04", a distance of 123.70 feet;
thence North 74049'25'' West, 10.84 feet to the
beginning of a 25.00 foot radius curve concave
northeasterly; thence northwesterly along the arc
of said curve through a central angle 33o22'09'',
a distance of 14.56 feet; thence North 41°27'16''
West, 65.96 feet to the beginning of a 25.00 foot
radius curve concave northeasterly; thence north-
westerly along the arc of said curve, through a
central angle 22040'56'', a distance of 9.90 feet;
thence North 18°46'20'' West, 21.52 feet to the
beginning of a 25.00 foot radius curve concave
southwesterly; thence northwesterly along the
arc of said curve through a central angle of
31012'34'', a distance of 13.62 feet; thence North
49058'54'' West, 26.56 feet.

The City Clerk of the City of Poway is hereby directed
to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be
recorded in the office of the Recorder of San Diego
County.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City
of Poway this 3rd day of March, 1987.
