A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE MID-YEAR BUDGET AMENDMENTS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986-1987
WHEREAS, a mid-year review of the lg86-1987 budget has determined the need
to authorize additional appropriations to certain fund activities, and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does hereby resolve
and order as follows:
Section 1:
the unappropriated fund balance of the General Fund:
The following appropriations are authorized to be made from
Legislative & Administrative
a) $8,200 to Account 1-012-142 for additional attorney's fees for
unanticipated litigation.
Community Services
a) $9,600 to Account 1-204-305 for landscape reservoirs per contract.
b) $2,400 to Account 1-204-331 for landscape reservoirs - electrical.
c) $530 to Account 1-204-417 to replace "Welcome to Poway" sign.
d) $29,540 to Account 1-204-421 for landscape materials for reservoirs
($15,680), relandscape Poway Road medians ($11,575), landscape
repairs due to accidents on Poway Road ($1,660), and replace freeze-
damaged backflow preventers.
e) $2,000 to Account 1-204-511 for landscape reservoirs - equipment
rental.
Planning Services
a) $155,000 to Account 1-303-143 to fund increased contract inspection
services which are offset by corresponding increases in inspection fee
revenue.
b) $1,450 to Account 1-302-515 to finance Bureau of Land Management
annexation fees.
Section 2: The following appropriation is authorized to be made from the
unappropriated fund balance of the Gas Tax Fund:
Public Services
a) $30,000 to Account 10-403-355 to cover additional expenditures
necessary for maintenance and repair of City streets.
