A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A 35 MPH SPEED
LIMIT ON DEL PONIENTE ROAD BETWEEN MIDLAND ROAD
AND ESPOLA ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 21100 of the California Vehicle Code permis local authori-
ties to adopt by resolution traffic control measures meeting the requirements
set forth under Section 21400 of the California Vehicle Code, and
WHEREAS, Section 22358 of the California Vehicle Code permits the
establishment of local speed limits for special areas.
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that certain speed limits should be
established.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that in accordance with said Section 22358
of the California Vehicle code, a 35 MPH speed limit be established on Del
Poniente Road between Espola Road and Midland Road.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 26th day of May, 1987.
