A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES
OF A PORTION OF YORK AVENUE AND EDGEMOOR STREET
WHEREAS, in an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication filed on
May 14, 1972 as Document No. 72-129413, the County of San
Diego was offered dedication of a portion of York Avenue and
Edgemoor Street, and
WHEREAS, on December 1, 1980, the City of Poway became
successor in interest to the County of San Diego, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code
(Subdivision Map Act) Section 66477.2(a) provides that a
rejected offer of dedication shall remain open and may be
accepted by resolution at any later date, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Poway does determine and order as follows:
The City of Poway hereby accepts for public
use for street purposes those portions of
York Avenue and Edgemoor Street shown on
Parcel Map 1775.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to certify to the passage of this resolution and
to cause its recordation in the office of the
Recorder of San Diego County.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the
City of Poway, California at a regular meeting thereof this
23rd day of June, 1987.
