A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTING THE FINAL REPORT OF PERSONNEL RESEARCH CENTER
INCLUDING THE CLASS SPECIFICATIONS POSITION ALLOCATION LIST
AND CLASS-SALARY RELATIONSHIP CHART.
WHEREAS, the City of Poway contracted with Personnel Research Center to
conduct a Classification and Compensation Study for all positions in the City
of Poway; and
WHEREAS, Personnel Research Center collected questionnaires from all
employees, held individual, group and supervisory interviews; and
WHEREAS, the results of the Study were included in a Preliminary Report
that was submitted April 1, 1987; and
WHEREAS, a two-phase appeal process gave employees the opportunity to
request additional consideration of preliminary results; and
WHEREAS, a Final Report has been prepared which includes all modifications
of the appeal process into Class Specifications, an Allocation List, and Class-
Salary Relationship Chart.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby adopts the Final Report as submitted, effective June 29, 1987, and on
file in the City Clerk's office.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 30th day of June, 1987.
