A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 91 -086 AND NO. 92 -056
REMOVING THE LOADING ZONES,
AND RE- ESTABLISHING THE NO PARKING ZONES
ALONG TIERRA BONITA ROAD, NORTH OF TWIN PEAKS ROAD
WHEREAS, on July 30, 1991, the City Council approved Resolution No. 91 -086
establishing "Loading" and "No Parking" Zones on Tierra Bonita Road north of Twin Peaks
Road, and
WHEREAS, on April 21, 1992, the City Council approved Resolution No. 92 -056
establishing an additional "Loading" Zone on Tierra Bonita Road north of Twin Peaks
Road, and
WHEREAS, the School District has modified the school parking lot to allow for
loading and unloading within the parking lot, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the "Loading" Zones along the
west side of Tierra Bonita Road, north of Twin Peaks Road, are no longer necessary, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the "No Parking" Zones
established by Resolution No. 91 -086 on Tierra Bonita Road north of Twin Peaks Road
need to be maintained for corner sight clearance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
Section 1 : Resolutions No. 91 -086 and No. 92 -056 are hereby rescinded thereby
removing the "Loading" and "No Parking" zones.
Section 2 : A 20 -foot "No Parking" zone along the west side of Tierra Bonita Road
starting from the southerly extended curb line of Tierra Bonita Court, thence southerly, is
hereby re- established.
Section 3 : A 30 -foot "No Parking" Zone along the east side of Tierra Bonita Road
starting 113 feet north of the northerly extended curb line of Tierra Bonita Court, thence
northerly, is hereby re- established.
Section 4 : A 20 -foot "No Parking" Zone along the west side of Tierra Bonita Road
starting 251 feet south of the southerly extended curb line of Tierra Bonita Court, thence
southerly, is hereby re- established.

PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway at
a regular meeting this 3rd day of January 2012.
