A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,'
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET
PURPOSES OF CERTAIN ONE-FOOT WIDE STRIPS OF LAND
LYING WITHIN CITY OF POWAY TRACT 4113~3R, MAP NO. 11508:
ARBOLITOS DRIVE
WHEREAS, on the map of City of Poway Tract 4113-3R, recorded
on May 8, 1986, as Map No. 11508, in the Office of the County
Recorder, there is offered for dedication for street purposes
certain one-foot wide strips at the southerly end of Arbolitos
Drive, and
WHEREAS, on said map the City Council of the City of
Poway rejected the offer of dedication of said one-foot wide
strips as hereinafter more particularly described, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code (Subdivision
Map Act) Section 66477.2(a) provides that a rejected offer
of dedication shall remain open and may be accepted by resolution
at any later date, and
WHEREAS, because of the approval and impending recordation
of the final map of City of Poway Tract 4191-3AR, it is in
the best public interest of the City of Poway that said one-foot
wide strips be now acc.epted for public use for street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway
does resolve, determine, and order as follows:
1. The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of
said strips, and does hereby accept for public use
for street purposes the following:
That portion of Lots 15 and 16 designated "Portions
of Lots 15 and 16 reserved for Future Street" on the
map of City of Poway Tract 4113-3R, recorded on
May 8, 1986, as Map No. 11508, in the Office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County, California.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
certify to the passage of this resolution and to cause
its recordation in the Office of the Recorder of San
Diego County.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of
the City of Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof
this 15th day of December, 1987.
