A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING THOSE CERTAIN AGREEMENTS WITH
THE POWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
CONCERNING THE TWIN PEA.KS MULTIPURPOSE CENTER
WHEREAS, the Poway City Council and the Poway Unified School District are
desirous of having a multipurpose center adjacent to Twin Peaks Middle School;
and
WHEREAS, the District is the fee owner of the real property upon which the
facility will be constructed and agrees to lease said property to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway agrees to construct the facility at its sole cost
and expense; and
WHEREAS, the City and District desire joint use of the facility.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby approves with the Poway Unified School District the following agreements
for the Twin Peaks Multipurpose Center:
1. Lease Agreement
2. Joint Use Agreement
3. Agreement of Construction and Ownership of improvements to Real
Property
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to do
all things necessary and proper to implement said Agreements.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City of Powa.v, California, at a regular
meeting thereof this 3rd day of M~y, 1988.
