A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES
OF CERTAIN ONE FOOT WIDE STRIPS OF LAND LYING WITHIN
CITY OF POWAY TRACT NO. 4191-3AR, MAP NO. 11981: ARBOLITOS
DRIVE, AND GOLDEN CITY UNIT NO. 2, TRACT NO. 2959-2,
MAP NO. 7066: CELESTIAL ROAD
WHEREAS, on the maps of City of Poway Tract 4191-3AR recorded
on December 29, 1987 as Map No. 11981 and Golden City Unit No. 2,
Tract No. 2959-2 recorded September 28, 1971 as Map No. 7066 in the
office of the County Recorder, there are offered for dedication for
street purposes certain one foot wide strips at the southerly end
of Arbolitos Drive and the northerly end of Celestial Road,
respectively, and
WHEREAS, on said Map No. 11981, the City Council of the City of
Poway and, on said Map No. 7066, the County of San Diego rejected
the offer of dedication of said one foot wide strips as hereinafter
more particularly described, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code (Subdivision
Map Act) Section 66477.2(a) provides that a rejected offer of dedi-
cation shall remain open and may be accepted by resolution at any
later date, and
WHEREAS, because of the approval and impending recordation of
the final map of City of Poway Tract 4191-3BR, it is in the best
public interest of the City of Poway that said one foot wide strips
be now accepted for public use for street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does
resolve, determine, and order as follows:
The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of said
strips, and does hereby accept for public use for street
purposes the following:
That portion of Lot 251 designated "Portion of Lot 251
reserved for future street" on the map of City of Poway
Tract 4191-3AR, recorded on December 29, 1987, as Map
No. 11981, ~n the office of the County Recorder of San
Diego County, California.

That portion of Lots 328 and 417 designated "Portion of
Lots 328 and 417 reserved for future street" on the map
of Golden City Unit No. 2, Tract NO. 2959-2, Map No.
7066, recorded on September 28, 1971 in the office of
the County Recorder of San Diego County, California.

The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify
to the passage of this resolution and to cause its recor-
dation in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County.

of Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof this 24th day of
