A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING THE SERVICE LEVEL OF OPERATION
AND FARE STRUCTURE FOR THE POWAY
DIAL-A-RIDE AND POWAY AIRPORTER SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Contracts for Dial-A-Ride and Airporter service; and
WHEREAS, Dial-A-Ride and Airporter service fares have remained stable while
City fare subsidies have increased; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized Sunday Dial-A-Ride service effective
January 1988, on a demonstration basis; and
WHEREAS, Sunday Dial-A-Ride patronage does not justify its continued
existence.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Poway
does hereby approve the following:
1. Discontinue the Sunday Dial-A-Ride demonstration project effective July
1, 1988.
2. Increase the Poway Dial-A-Ride fare from $1 to $1.25 per ride effective
September 1, 1988.
3. Increase Poway Airporter fares effective September 1, 1988, as follows:

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby autorized to do
all things necessary and proper to implement said actions.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof, this 24th day of May, 1988.
