A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING WATER RATES
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988-1989
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 87- 0?3
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the pumping charges for Service Areas;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the capacity charges for various meter
sizes; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish water rates for fiscal year 1988-1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway:
1. That the water rate schedule is hereby established as follows for all water
billed after July 1, 1988:
Charge Per Unit
(100 cubic feet)
Basic Water Rate
The baslc water rate for al1 classes of service
other than agriculture shall equal (per unit)
Agriculture Rate
The agriculture rate for agriculture service as
defined by the Metropolitan Water District
shall equal (per unit)
Agriculture/Domestic Service
Customers who receive water service for a home
qualified agricultural use shall be charged at
first 52 units of water provided and at
provided in excess of 52 units.

shall pay a bimonthly capacity charge for water service
based upon meter size as follows:

2. That Resolution No. 87-073 is hereby rescinded.
