A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
CERTIFYING THE FINAL SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT REPORT FOR THE SOUTH POWAY
PLANNED COMMUNITY (PC 84-01) (SCH #88042716)
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and certified the Final
EIR for the adopted South Poway Planned Community Development Plan
at a public hearing on July 30, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the preparation of a
Subsequent EIR which addresses proposed amendments to the adopted
South Poway Planned Community Development Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a properly noticed public
hearing to review and consider the Final Subsequent Environmental
Impact Report and its Appendices for the South Poway Planned
Community Development Plan in accordance with the California
Government Code and the California Environmental Quality Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does
hereby certify that:
The Final Subsequent Environmental Impact Report for the
South Poway Planned Community Development Plan has been
completed in compliance with the California Environmental
Quality Act;
The Final Subsequent Environmental Impact Report for the
South Poway Planned Community Development Plan was pre-
sented to the City Council who reviewed and considered the
information contained in that document and its appendices.
The City Council found that the subject document ade-
quately addresses the environmental issues of the proposed
project.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
States of California, this 26th day of July, 1988.
