A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE PLANNING FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, the Poway City council, on August 25, 1981 adopted
Resolution No. 145 establishing the Planning Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may find it necessary or desirable to
amend the fee schedule as authorized by the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, on September 22, 1986, the City Council approved an
amendment to the zoning Development Code of the Poway Municipal
Code regarding the specific plan application process, and on
January 5, 1988, approved an amendment to the Code regarding the
minor conditional use permit application process; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now finds that it is necessary to
amend the Planning Fee Schedule to establish processing fees for
specific plan and minor conditional use permit applications; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public
hearing in accordance with the California Government Code and the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to consider the pro-
posed amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway further finds that the proposed
amendment is exempt from the CEQA requirements pursuant to Section
21080(B)(8)(1) of CEQA and hereby authorizes the City Clerk to file
the appropriate Notice of Exemption with the Clerk of the County of
San Diego.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city Council does
hereby amend the Planning Fee Schedule to include the following
planning application fees as shown on the attached fee schedule
(Exhibit A).
