A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING A CASH DEPOSIT, INSPECTION DEPOSIT, AND APPLICATION
FEE FOR THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT
WHEREAS, the City will require a permit for all work in the City's public
right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, a cash deposit and inspection deposit must be made to the City and
application fee paid prior to the issuance of the Public Right-of-Way Permit;
and
WHEREAS, the cash deposit can be used if necessary, to correct any unsafe
conditions resulting from permittee's work in the public right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway
does resolve as follows:
The amount of the deposit for a public right-of-way
permit will be based on 10% of the estimated cost of
the work to be done in the public right-of-way.
No deposit for a Public Right-of-Way Permit will be
less than $500 or more than $20,000. A cash deposit
will be waived for a City capital improvement project.
The amount of the inspection deposit will be based on
1-½% of the estimated cost of the work to be done.
No inspection deposit will be less than $100, or more
than $50,000. The inspection deposit will be waived
for work performed pursuant to a City standard agreement
or for a City capital improvement project.
3. Permit application fee is established at $25.00
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 12th day of January , 1988.
