A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A ONE-WAY STOP SIGN AT
STARMOUNT WAY AND VALLE VERDE ROAD AND A YIELD SIGN FOR
MOUNTAINSIDE DRIVE AT SILVER LAKE DRIVE
WHEREAS, Section 21100 of the California Vehicle Code permits local authori-
ties to adopt by resolution, traffic control measures meeting the requirements
set forth under Section 21400 of the California Vehicle Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 21355 of the California Vehicle Code permits the establish-
ment of a "Stop Sign" in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, Section 21356 of the California Vehicle Code permits the establish-
ment of yield right-of-way signs in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the following traffic controls be
established:
1. Installation of a one-way "Stop Sign" on the northeast
corner of Starmount Way and Valle Verde Road.
2. Installation of a Yield Right-of-Way sign on the southwest
corner of Mountainside Drive and Silver Lake Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with said Sections 21355
and 21356 of the California Vehicle Code, a one-way stop sign and yield right-
of-way sign be installed at above said intersections.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 2nd day of February 1988.
