A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING THE PLACEMENT OF YIELD SIGNS AT ACTON AVENUE
AND BOWDOIN ROAD AND AT HALPER ROAD AND HOLLAND ROAD;
A STOP SIGN AT TITAN WAY AND RIPARIAN ROAD; NO-PARKING ZONE
ON MIDLAND ROAD 60-FEET NORTH OF EDGEMOOR STREET; AND A TRAFFIC
SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF COMMUNITY ROAD AND AUBREY STREET
WHEREAS, Section 21356 of the California Vehicle Code pemits the establish-
ment of a Yield Right-of-Way Sign in the City of Poway;
WHEREAS, Section 21351 of the California Vehicle Code pemits the establish-
ment of stop signs in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code pemits the establish-
ment of "No Standing or Parking" Zone in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that yield signs, stop signs, a no
parking zone, and a traffic signal should be established.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with said Section 21356 of
the California Vehicle Code, yield right-of-way signs are hereby established:
North and southbound on Acton Avenue at Bowdoin Road;
and north and southbound on Halper Road at Holland Road
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with said Section 21351 of
the California Vehicle Code, a stop sign be established at the intersection of
Titan Way at Riparian Road.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with said Section 22507 of
the California Vehicle Code a "No Standing or Parking" zone is hereby
established on the west side of Midland Road, 60-feet north from Edgemoor
Street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 21100 of the
California Vehicle Code, the traffic signal at Community Road and Aubrey Street
is hereby established.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 2nd day of August, 1988. ~
