A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Poway,
State of California, Ordering the Summary Vacation of an
Equestrian and Pedestrian Trail Easement Within
Parcel 2 of Parcel Map 12585

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires to sum-
marily vacate a certain public service easement in accordance with
the procedures provided in Chapter 4, Part 3, Division 9 of the
Streets and Highway Code of the State of California, commencing at
Section 8330; and
WHEREAS, an equestrian and pedestrian trail within the
following legal description was dedicated to the City of Poway per
Parcel Map 12585 recorded on February 25, 1983 in the office of the
County Recorder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Poway as follows:
This summary vacation is made under the provisions of
Chapter 4, Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
The City Council hereby finds that the herein described
equestrian and pedestrian trail easement has been super-
seded by relocation and there are not other public facili-
ties within the easement.
The City Council hereby declares that the following
described equestrian and pedestrain trail easement is
hereby vacated:
That portion of Parcel 2 of Parcel Map 12585 situated in
the City of Poway, County of San Diego, State of
California, said parcel map recorded at the Office of the
County Recorder on February 25, 1983, being further
described as follows:
The Westerly 10.00 feet and the Southerly 10.00 feet of
said Parcel 2 as granted on said Parcel Map 12585.
The City Clerk of the City of Poway is hereby directed to
cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in
the office of the Recorder of San Diego County in accor-
dance with the provisions of Section 8336 of the Streets
and Highways Code.

of Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof this 30th day of
