A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IGPA 88-03S)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may
arise to amend the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 65350, et. seq., of the California Government Code descri-
bes the procedures for amending General Plans: and
WHEREAS, the applicant, the City of Poway, has initiated a General Plan
Amendment, GPA 88-03S, for a modification of land use on the Assessor's parcels
identified on Attachment i hereto; and
WHEREAS, the application proposes a change in land use from Rural
Residential C (1 du/1, 2, or 4 net acres) to Residential Single Family-l: and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing in accor-
dance with the California Government Code and the California Environmental
Quality Act to consider General Plan Amendment 88-03S; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that proposed General Plan Amendment 88-03S
will not have significant adverse impacts on the environment and hereby issues a
Negative Declaration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend the
City of Poway General Plan Land Use Map of the Land Use Element for the
Assessor's parcels identified in Attachment i hereto from Rural Residential C (1
du/1, 2, or 4 net acres) to Residential Single Family-1.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 13th day of September, 1988.
