A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE PLACEMENT OF A FOUR WAY STOP
AT THE INTERSECTION OF GATE DRIVE AND FAIRGATE DRIVE,
NO PARKING ZONE ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDE OF MIDLAND ROAD
BETWEEN POWAY ROAD AND FAIRGATE DRIVE, AND EXTEND THE
EXISTING NO PARKING ZONE ON THE WEST SIDE OF BOWRON ROAD
AN ADDITIONAL 30 FEET ADJACENT TO THE EXIT DRIVEWAY
FOR VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
WHEREAS, Section 21351 of the California vehicle Code permits
the establishment of stop signs in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code permits
the establishment of "No Standing or Parking" zones in the City of
Poway; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has determined that stop signs and
no parking zones should be established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Poway that in accordance with said Section 21351 of the
California vehicle Code, a four way stop be established at the
intersection of Gate Drive and Fairgate Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with said
Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, a "No Standing or
Parking" zone is hereby established on the west and east side of
Midland Road from Poway Road to Fairgate Drive and extend the
existing no parking zone on the west side of Bowron Road an addi-
tional 30 feet adjacent to the exit driveway for the Valley
Elementary School.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City
of Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof this 20th day of
September, 1988.
