A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
WITHDRAWING ZONE CHANGE (ZC 88-04A)
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has initiated an application, GPA 88-04A,
requesting a modification of land use on Assessor Parcels 314-050-25 and 26
having a total area of approximately 40-gross acres and located approximately
400 feet south of the intersection of Silverset Street and Palisades Drive; and
WHEREAS, the application requests a change in land use from Rural
Residential-C (1 du/1,2, or 4 net acres) to Planned Community, and said Planned
Community designation would be governed by the property development standards
and slope criteria of the Rural Residential-C land use and zoning designation;
and
WHEREAS, on October 11, 1988, the City of Poway held a properly noticed
public hearing in accordance with the California Government Code and the
California Environmental Quality Act to consider the amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined after public testimony on the item that
proposed General Plan Amendment 88-04A is not appropriate, and therefore
rejected the application; and
WHEREAS, on October 25, 1988, the City Council adopted Resolution 88-125
confirming said City Council action; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the City Council withdraw application
ZC 88-04 as said application was automatically nullified by the City Council's
action on GPA 88-04A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby withdraw
zone change application ZC 88-04A.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 1st day of November, 1988.
