A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO USE THE OPEN
MARKET PROCEDURE TO CONTRACT FOR THE
RELOCATION OF THE ARMSTRONG HOUSE
WHEREAS, the City Council has rejected all bids for the relocation
of the Armstrong house as unresponsive; and
WHEREAS, Section 3.28.080 of the Poway Municipal Code and 20167 of
the Public Contracts Code provide that after rejecting bids, the legis-
lative body may pass a resolution by four fifths vote declaring that the
project can be contracted for on the open market, if the project can be
economically performed in that manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council finds that this
project can be economically performed by contract negotiated on the open
market and authorizes the relocation of the Armstrong House to be contracted
for in the open market.
