A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
OF BLUE SKY RANCH
WHEREAS, the City of Poway is desirous of preserving as open space the 410
acre site known as Blue Sky Ranch; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Fish and Game and The Wildlife
Conservation Board are participating financially in the acquisition of Blue Sky
Ranch and will be the eventual owner of said property; and
WHEREAS, as a condition of the Department of Fish and Game participation and
ownership, the City of Poway has committed to operate and maintain Blue Sky
Ranch.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Poway,
hereby agrees to operate and maintain for a period of twenty-five years that
property known as Blue Sky Ranch.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council authorize the City Manager
to execute any pertinent agreements to effect said City operation and main-
tenance of Blue Sky Ranch.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of~-~he City of Poway, California at
a regular meeting thereof, this 31st day of J~hulry, 1989.
