A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE SUMMARY VACATION OF
A PORTION OF STONE CANYON ROAD WITHIN: PARCELS 60 AND 61
OF RECORD OF SURVEY NO. 3842 FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE
COUNTY RECORDER OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY FEBRUARY 15, 1956
(Vacation 88-1~
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires to summarily vacate a
street in accordance with the procedures provided in Chapter 4, Part 3, Division
9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, commencing at
Section 8330; and
WHEREAS, a street within the attached legal description titled "Exhibit A"
was dedicated to the City per an easement for County highway and incidental pur-
poses recorded as File No. 176555 on September 25, lg6g in the Office of the
County Recorder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
This summary vacation is made under the provisions of Chapter 4, Part
3, Division g of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
2. The City Council hereby finds that the herein described street has been
superseded by relocation.
3. The City Council hereby declares that the following described portion
of Stone Canyon Road is hereby vacated:
See attached legal description titled "Exhibit A."

The City Clerk of the City of Poway is hereby directed to cause a cer-
tified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the
Recorder of San Diego County in accordance with the provisions of
Section 8336 of the Streets and Highways Code.

A portion of Parcel No. 60 and 61 of Record of Survey Map No. 3842,
filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
February 15, 1956, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Section 36 distant thereon
South 89°23'35" East 564.66 feet from the Northwest corner thereof;
thence South 0°54'41'' West, 353.68 feet to a point of intersection
with the Southerly easement line as granted to the County of San
Diego, recorded September 25, 1969, as File No. 176555 of Official
Records; thence Southeasterly along said Southerly easement line
South 89°12'15'' East (South 89°05'19" East Record) 244.66 feet
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving said Southerly ease-
ment line North 79"00'49" East 230.53 feet to a point of intersec-
tion with a 331.72 foot radius curve concave Northwesterly, said
curve also being a portion of said Southerly easement line; thence
Southerly and Northwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 30°53'48'' a distance of 178.88 fee~; thence tangent to
said curve North 89°12'15'' West 55.34 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
