A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
GRANTING A UTILITY EASEMENT TO
SAN DIEGO GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY
THROUGH VALLE VERDE PARK AT THE
CORNER OF VALLE VERDE ROAD AND ESPOLA ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Poway will be installing a public recreation area,
Valle Verde Park, on the vacant lot located at the northwest corner of Espola
Road and Valle Verde Road; and
WHEREAS, on April 4, 1989, the City Council established Underground Utility
District No. 59 for undergrounding the overhead utilities along Espola Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as
follows:
The City Council hereby grants to San Diego Gas & Electric the
following described easement in, over, upon, under and across the lands
hereinafter described, to erect, construct, change the size of,
improve, reconstruct, relocate, repair, maintain and use facilities
consisting of:
a. Underground facilities and appurtenances for the transmission and
distribution of electricity;
b. Communication facilities, and appurtenances.
The easement is legally described as follows: That certain strip of
land 4.00 feet in width, the southerly line of which is coincident with
the following described reference line:
Commencing at the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 25, Township 13 south, range 2 west, San
Bernardino Meridian, described in a Certificate of Compliance recorded
December 27, 1988, at File/Page 88-665480 in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County of San Diego; thence easterly along the
southerly line thereof, south 89°08'49" east, 145.00 feet; thence north
00°45'28'' east, 51.00 feet to a point on the northerly right-of-way of
Espola Road, as shown and delineated on Exhibit "B" of said Certificate
of Compliance; thence to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of the reference
line herein described; thence continuing south 89008'49'' east, 30.00
feet.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Poway is hereby directed to cause a
certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the
Recorder of San Diego County and to execute an easement document of the
same above described easement for transmittal to San Diego Gas and
Electric Company.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the Cit~puncil of the City of Poway,
