A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING A YIELD SIGN FOR TRIUMPH DRIVE AT
POWAY MESA DRIVE AND A NO PARKING ZONE ON THE EAST AND WEST
SIDES OF HILLNDALE
WHEREAS, Section 21100 of the California Vehicle Code permits local authori-
ties to adopt by resolution, traffic control measures meeting the requirements
setforth under Section 21351 of the California Vehicle Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code permits the establish-
ment of a "No Standing or Parking" zone in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, Section 21356 of the California Vehicle Code permits the establish-
ment of a "yield Right-of-Way" sign in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that a yield sign and no parking zones
be established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with said Section 22507
of the California Vehicle Code, a "No Standing or Parking" zone be established
on both the east and west sides of Hillndale for 150 feet north of Twin Peaks
Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with said Section 21356 of
the California Vehicle Code, a yield sign be installed on the southwest corner
of Triumph Drive and Poway Mesa Drive.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this23~_7~day of May , 1989.
