A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING WATER RATES
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989-1990
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NOS. 88-062 AND 88-079
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the pumping charges for Service Areas;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the capacity charges for various meter
sizes; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish water rates for fiscal year 1989-1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway:
1. That the water rate schedule is hereby established as follows for all water
billed after July 1, 1989:
Basic Water Rate

The agriculture rate for agriculture service as
defined by the Metropolitan Water District

Pumping Charges
Customers who receive water service for a home from a meter also serving a
qualified agricultural use shall be charged at the basic water rate for the
first 52 units of water provided and at the agricultural rate for all water
provided in excess of 52 units.

All water customers shall pay a bimonthly capacity charge
based upon meter size as follows:

Upon change of ownership, water capacity charges will be prorated on a 60-day
billing period between old and new customer.
2. That Resolution Nos. 88-063 and 88-079 are hereby rescinded.
