Minutes 2007 05-14CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA MINUTES OF THE BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING May 14, 2007 The May 14, 2007 Regular Meeting of the Budget Review Committee was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairperson Jerry Hargarten at the Poway City Council Chambers Observation Room, 13325 Civic Center Drive, Poway, California. COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT Mary Cross, Janet DiPrinzio, Jerry Hargarten, David Knopp, Raghubir Mathur COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT None STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT Rod Gould, City Manager Penny Riley, Assistant City Manager Robert Clark, Director of Community Services Dena Fuentes, Director of Redevelopment Services Tina White, Director of Administrative Services Peter Moote, Assistant Director of Administrative Services COMMITTEE BUSINESS 1. Approval of Minutes The minutes of the May 7, 2007 meeting were unanimously approved. 2. Questions from Committee on prior budget materials Staff responded to the committee's questions 3. Presentation by staff on the following budget items: a. Redevelopment Services recommended budget for FY 07- 08/08 -09 presented by Dena Fuentes b. Community Services recommended budget for FY 07- 08/08 -09 presented by Robert Clark c. Administrative Services recommended budget for FY 07- 08/08 -09 presented by Tina White d. Legislative Services recommended budget for FY 07- 08/08 -09 presented by Penny Riley The committee received and filed the recommended department budgets, asking for additional information and staff follow -up in certain areas. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m. by Chairperson Hargarten.
