Minutes 2011 05-16CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA MINUTES OF THE BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING MAY 16, 2011 The May 16, 2011, Regular Meeting of the Budget Review Committee was called to order at 6:02 p.m. in the Poway City Council Chambers Observation Room, 13325 Civic Center Drive, Poway, California. COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT Steve Vaus, Gary Fletcher, John Carnaroli, Howard Collins, Jeff Mangum COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT None STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT Penny Riley, City Manager Tina White, Assistant City Manager John French, Director of Administrative Services Peter Moote, Assistant Director of Administrative Services PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS None 1. FUND BALANCES, INCLUDING WATER AND SEWER ENTERPRISE FUNDS John French and Peter Moote reported on the fund balances and reserves for the operating funds, including the General, Economic Uncertainty, Streets, Pension Stabilization, and Enterprise Funds. 2. DEVELOP COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE CITY COUNCIL The Committee discussed potential recommendations for their report to Council. Chairman Steve Vaus requested the Committee members to prepare their individual recommendations for discussion at the May 25, 2001 meeting. 3. CHAIR AND COMMITTEE MEMBER - INITIATED ITEMS None 4. ADJOURNMENT The May 16, 2011 meeting of the Budget Review Committee was adjourned at 8:22 p.m. The next meeting of the Budget Review Committee will be Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
