A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR FUNDS FROM THE
SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM FOR WATER RECLAMATION PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the San Diego County Water Authority has enacted a financial
assistance program for public entities proposing water reclamation projects; and
WHEREAS, the SDCWA must receive applications for funding by August 30, 1989;
and
WHEREAS, the SDCWA desires to promote water reclamation by providing
financing assistance during the planning of a water reclamation project, and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has completed a feasibility study for a water
reclamation project and has defined a viable project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby:
1. Approves the filing of applications for funding under the
SDCWA financlal assistance program.
2. Appoints the City Manager or his designee as agent for the
City of Poway to conduct all negotiations, execute, and
submit all documents including but not limited to,
applications, agreements, amendments, payment requests,
and so on, which may be necessary for completion of the
aforementioned projects.
